Application Process Complete an online application at www.ED-JOIN.ORG and send electronically any documents as attachments (i.e. resume, credentials, etc.). Teacher positions require: CSSD Certificated Application, Resume, 3 Reference Letters, copies of--both sides of a valid credential OR proof of enrollment in a teacher preparation program; CBEST verification. If you are unable to attach the documents electronically, please mail or deliver applications to: Phone: (858) 678.2020 Selection Process Selection Procedure for Teachers and Learning Associates A committee appointed for that purpose reviews applications. Selected applicants will be invited to an interview with a panel of teachers/staff and to complete a work styles/behavior survey. Candidates who successfully complete this phase of the process will be referred to an interview with the CSSD directors and to complete a writing exercise. Selection Procedure for Classroom Assistants A committee appointed for that purpose reviews applications. Selected applicants will be invited to an orientation. The orientation consists of a math survey, an English survey, an online work styles behavior survey, and a discussion of job related duties and expectations. Upon successful completion of the orientation applicants will be invited to an interview with a panel of teachers and staff. Candidates who successfully complete this phase of the process will be placed on an eligibility list and referred to teachers for interview as openings occur. |
